The annual Source to Sea Cleanup is Connecticut River Conservancy's longest-lasting and widest-reaching initiative dedicated to clean rivers, healthy habitats, and community action. The cleanup is a watershed-wide initiative to remove trash from our rivers. Each fall, thousands of volunteer groups in NH, VT, MA, and CT join forces and spend a few hours making the water cleaner, the riverbanks safer, and the wildlife happier. Recent flooding is likely to have increased riverside trash or transported debris to areas where it might not otherwise be, so your involvement will help reduce further pollution in the river. It's a great way to keep nature... natural!
